Set up once

Record the premises complexity, then carry out the assessment to BS 9792 or PAS 79‑1.

Before the report can be sent, Fire Record lists anything still missing, with a link straight to it.

The Lead reads the report, then returns it for correction, saying what to change, or validates it, from a computer or a phone.

Does Fire Record make my firm BAFE registered?
No. Registration comes from BAFE through your certification body. Fire Record gives your registered firm the tools to run the SP205 process and keep its records.
Does it replace my certification body's audit?
No. Your certification body still audits your firm. Fire Record keeps what they ask to see ready to download.
Which plans include SP205?
Pro, Pro Plus, Teams and Enterprise. If you don't work to SP205, it stays switched off.
Can the same person assess and validate?
Yes, if that person is a Lead Fire Risk Assessor whose tier covers the premises. The validation register and the records pack then mark it as their own report.
